ISHM also provides international on-job training and placement opportunities in over 17 countries.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site, full-time role for a Placement Coordinator, based in Kolkata. The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and managing placement opportunities for students by building relationships with companies, scheduling recruitment events, and ensuring effective communication with employers. Additional responsibilities include preparing students for interviews, overseeing the placement process, and collaborating with faculty and staff to align coursework with industry demands.QualificationsStrong Interpersonal Skills to build and maintain relationships with students, employers, and staffExcellent Communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and prepare clear and professional correspondenceCustomer Service skills to provide support to students and address any placement-related questions and issuesBackground in Education or familiarity with academic systems and student managementExperience in Recruiting and understanding of recruitment processes in the hospitality and aviation industriesAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficientlyProficiency in using digital tools and platforms for communication and database management is a plus
