(Multi-Cloud DevOps/MLOps Specialist) Location:  Remote-first (UK/EU/SG time zones preferred) About the Role Lead the design and operation of secure, high-availability, multi-cloud infrastructure for a blockchain and data-intensive financial platform. Enable AI/ML workflows, ensure regulatory-grade security, and deliver four-nines reliability. Responsibilities • Architect multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for blockchain and financial workloads. • Implement DevOps pipelines with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions; operate container platforms (Kubernetes/Docker). • Build MLOps workflows for training, deployment, versioning, and monitoring (MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker). • Optimise database architectures (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ledger-adjacent stores) for integrity, scale, and low latency. • Design for resilience: fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and hybrid models for data sovereignty. • Integrate security best practice (zero trust, encryption, secrets, API gateways) and compliance controls (GDPR, SOC 2, PCI where relevant). • Deliver observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK; troubleshoot performance at scale. • Drive performance tuning and cost optimisation; leverage auto-scaling and serverless where appropriate. • Mentor engineers; contribute architecture documents and standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience. • 7–10 years in cloud infrastructure with 4+ years across multi-cloud; relevant certifications preferred. • Strong DevOps background: CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes/ECS. • 3+ years of MLOps in production (TensorFlow, PyTorch, data pipelines). • Experience supporting blockchain applications or DLT integrations. • Expertise in relational and NoSQL data stores; microservices and event-driven design. • Security and compliance familiarity for financial services; strong incident response skills. • Excellent communication with the ability to brief non-technical stakeholders. Preferred • Experience with trading or tokenisation platforms. • Advanced certifications in DevOps/MLOps or blockchain. • Familiarity with serverless patterns and modern AI orchestration tools. • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for automation.
