Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Production Manager for our Machinery Manufacturing unit located in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Production Planning (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated experience in creating and managing production schedules to meet company objectives.
  • Inventory Management (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to oversee inventory levels, order materials as needed, and manage stock control processes.
  • Problem Solving (Mandatory skill): Strong problem-solving capabilities to address production-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Resource Management: Expertise in efficiently allocating resources to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Adept at implementing quality control measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in leading and managing a production team to achieve set goals and maintain high morale.
  • Budgeting: Competence in managing budgets and controlling production costs to meet financial objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with different departments and ensure smooth production processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire production process from planning to execution, ensuring it aligns with company objectives.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering materials and maintaining stock controls.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure that quality standards are met, and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Lead and supervise the production team, providing guidance and support as required.
  • Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Resolve production-related issues through effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and quality assurance to ensure smooth operations.
