About job profile:
As a Commi Chef You have to works under the supervision of senior chefs like the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef. This role is designed for those starting their culinary careers and eager to learn kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing ingredients (washing, chopping, seasoning)
- Support senior chefs during meal prep and service
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Rotate stock and discard expired items
- Plate and present dishes as instructed
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic culinary knowledge and knife skills
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Teamwork and communication abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours
- Culinary certification or diploma (preferred but not always required)
