How we started:

Founded in 2019, Uravu Labs was born out of a shared vision to address water scarcity issues, particularly inspired by the founders' own experiences on the NIT Calicut campus during their studies. Driven by a passion for innovation and sustainability, Uravu Labs embarked on a mission to develop cutting-edge solutions that could extract water from the air using renewable energy sources. The company's journey began with the realization that existing methods, such as conventional atmospheric water generators, were not entirely sustainable due to their heavy reliance on electricity and the use of refrigerants with high global warming potential. Determined to make a difference, the founders set out to create a solution that would be truly renewable and sustainable. Their dedication led them to explore alternative approaches, resulting in the development of groundbreaking technology that harnesses renewable energy to produce clean water from the air.

Role Overview:

We're looking for a young and imaginative 3D Designer to join our marketing team. Your main role will be to create engaging marketing videos that combine 3D visuals, motion graphics, and storytelling - to help us explain, excite, and expand Uravu's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-impact marketing videos that showcase our technology, products, and brand
  • Design and animate 3D scenes, product renders, and motion graphics
  • Work closely with the brand, marketing, and engineering teams to understand key messages
  • Bring abstract ideas to life through visuals — from water science to climate impact
  • Edit and finalize video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Occasionally contribute to other design needs: short reels, Instagram stories, pitch decks, etc.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • Experience with 3D animation (using Blender, Cinema4D, or equivalent) - make a 3D of our bottles, and then create marketing videos
  • A good sense of motion, rhythm, transitions, and storytelling
  • A portfolio that includes 3D/motion design work (ideally marketing or explainer content)
  • Hunger to learn and experiment with new formats, visuals, and tools
  • Passion for climate tech, sustainability, or purpose-driven storytelling

Bonus If You Know

  • Blender, Unreal Engine, or other 3D tools
  • Audio editing and sound design
  • Visual effects (VFX) or simulations
  • Basic scripting/automation for After Effects
