With a 98 % visa acceptance rate, VisionX Study Abroad is dedicated to a transparent and student-first approach.About the RoleThis is a full-time remote role for an Overseas Education Counsellor. The Overseas Education Counsellor will be responsible for providing educational consulting, mentoring students, assisting with career counselling, and guiding students through the study abroad process. The role involves regular communication with students and parents, preparing necessary documentation, and collaborating with universities and financial institutions to facilitate student admissions and loans.ResponsibilitiesProviding educational consultingMentoring studentsAssisting with career counsellingGuiding students through the study abroad processRegular communication with students and parentsPreparing necessary documentationCollaborating with universities and financial institutions to facilitate student admissions and loansQualificationsEducational Consulting and Student Counselling skillsStrong Communication skillsExperience in Career Counselling and Education sectorsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to understand and cater to unique student needsExperience working with international education systems is a plusRelevant certification or degree in Education, Counselling, or related fieldRequired SkillsConduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students interested in studying abroadGuide students on what courses to opt for based on their profile and interest.Assist students on deciding on the universities/colleges and programs to opt for.Assist in preparing and filing of their applications.Guiding students on the visa process and visa applicationsParticipate in educational activities such as exhibitions and events as and when required.Preferred SkillsExperience working with Study abroad education consultancy is a plusWhat will you be doing?We are now building our leadership team and would love to engageThis is a great time to join the ship and participate in the upsideBroadly,You will have tearing-your-hair level complex & challenging problems to solveWith massive upside if you solve themIn a super fast paced environment that will challenge youWith enough resources to be audaciousAnd mentorship from an experienced founding teamPay range and compensation package3,00,000 - 5,00,000 (Fixed) + upto 5,00,000 (Variable)
