Apply here - Job Description We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of web-based applications for the digital infrastructure program. The role involves executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and ensuring that all software deliverables meet defined quality standards. This position offers exposure to complex enterprise and infrastructure-related systems and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in an agile setup. Key Responsibilities 1. Test Execution & Validation Perform manual and functional testing of web applications and portals. Prepare and execute test cases, test scripts, and regression test suites. Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps. Validate UI functionality, performance, and usability across browsers. 2. Test Planning & Documentation Assist in preparing test plans and test data for assigned modules. Maintain detailed documentation of test results and status reports. Support QA Lead in maintaining test coverage and traceability. 3. Collaboration & Support Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and verify fixes. Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives). Support UAT testing with business users. 4. Automation (Optional / Added Advantage) Basic understanding of Selenium / Postman for automation or API testing. Write simple scripts for smoke or regression tests (if applicable). Required Skills & Experience 1- 5 years of experience in software testing (preferably web-based applications). Hands-on experience with functional, UI, and regression testing. Familiar with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar QA management systems. Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation. Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery cycles. Good analytical and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline. Exposure to GIS or map-based applications is a plus. Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or Swagger. Interest in learning automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress). Soft Skills Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. Good communication and teamwork skills. Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly in dynamic project environments. Organized, methodical, and responsible approach to quality.
