About Technical Writer:

We are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for our products, services, and processes. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and relevance in all documentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly materials.

Roles & Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications, user requirements, and technical processes.


• Research, write, edit, and proofread technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, tutorials, API documentation, release notes, and online help.


• Organize and maintain documentation repositories to ensure easy access and version control.


• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.


• Develop and maintain a style guide and documentation templates to ensure consistency across all materials.


• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.


• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation tools.

Prerequisites:


• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field.


• Proven experience as a technical writer, with a portfolio showcasing various types of technical documentation.


• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with keen attention to detail.


• Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Adobe Technical Communication Suite, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word, Markdown, and version control systems (e.g., Git).


• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus.


• Experience with software development or technical support is preferred but not required.
