Basketball Coach – Scotle High School, Jaipur Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Job Type: Full-time Experience: 5 + years preferred About the Role Scotle High School is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Basketball Coach who can train students across different age groups, develop team discipline, and build a strong sports culture. The coach will play a key role in preparing our teams for inter-school, district, and state-level tournaments. Key Responsibilities Train students in basketball fundamentals, techniques, and match strategies. Plan structured practice sessions for different age groups (Under-14, Under-17, and senior teams). Identify talent and build competitive school teams. Organise fitness drills and conditioning sessions to improve stamina and agility. Mentor students on sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline. Ensure safety protocols during training and matches. Maintain attendance, performance records, and training reports. Coordinate with the Sports Department for tournaments, fixtures, and equipment needs. Prepare players for inter-school championships and other competitive events. Requirements Proven experience as a basketball coach (school/academy/club). Strong understanding of game rules, techniques, and competitive play. Ability to mentor students with patience, motivation, and sports ethics. Physical fitness and ability to demonstrate drills. Certification in sports coaching (preferred but not mandatory).
