Role Description This is an onsite, fulltime or contract role experienced Lead Detection Engineer specializing in detection engineering projects across cloud and on-prem environments and collaborate with product, analytics, and business teams to define and prioritize detection engineering initiatives. Location: Pune, India Experience: 8+ years in detection engineering or related fields Type: Full-time or Contract Key Responsibilities: Lead and drive detection engineering projects across cloud and on-prem environments. Collaborate with product, analytics, and business teams to define and prioritize detection engineering initiatives. Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance and streamline the detection process. Actively participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning. Design and implement internal process improvements , automating manual processes and optimizing detection efforts. Identify product/process limitations and propose innovative solutions to improve content-based initiatives. Develop prototypes for new detection capabilities to reduce mean time to detect (MTD) threats. Leverage Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) Platforms to enhance content delivery and improve detections. Mentor and guide junior content engineers, promoting best practices, high-quality code, and clear documentation. Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in detection engineering , cybersecurity , or related fields. Strong technical expertise in both cloud and on-prem environments. Experience with Breach and Attack Simulation platforms or similar tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate solutions to complex challenges. Proven experience in mentoring teams and ensuring high-quality content engineering practices. Experience in security incident management , root cause analysis, and performance tuning. Why Join Us?
