Role Description

Designing and implementing AI models for gaze tracking : selecting appropriate algorithms, training models on available data, and fine-tuning them for optimal performance.

  1. Data preprocessing and feature engineering: clean and transform raw data into suitable formats for training AI models, and create relevant features to improve model performance.
  2. Model evaluation and validation: assess the performance of AI models using various metrics and statistical techniques to ensure they meet accuracy and reliability criteria1.
  3. Collaboration with data science teams: work closely with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to translate business requirements into AI solutions12.
  4. MLOps and AI lifecycle management: implementing continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, automating model retraining, and versioning processes


Educational background

  - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field

  - Advanced degree may be preferred for research-oriented positions


Programming skills

  - Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB[1][3]

  - Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch

  - Knowledge of computer vision libraries like OpenCV or Dlib


Computer vision expertise

  - Strong understanding of image processing techniques, including filtering, edge detection, and image segmentation[1]

  - Experience in developing and implementing vision-based models

  - Knowledge of 3D computer vision techniques, including 3D reconstruction and SLAM algorithms


Gaze tracking specific skills:

  - Understanding of eye-tracking technologies and methodologies

  - Experience with gaze data analysis and interpretation

  - Familiarity with eye-tracking equipment and software


Machine learning and AI

  - Solid understanding of machine learning, neural networks, and deep learning

  - Experience with convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and other AI models


Mathematical skills

  - Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and statistics

  - Proficiency in 3D geometry


Additional technical skills

  - Experience with sensor fusion for integrating data from multiple sensors

  - Knowledge of process automation and AI pipeline design

  - Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., OCI/AWS)


Experience

  - At least 2 years of experience in applying AI to practical technology solutions[7]

  - Demonstrated experience in computer vision projects, preferably including gaze tracking applications[2][5]
