It offers advanced features and AI capabilities to enhance digital commerce experiences.Qualifications: -We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript, ReactJS, GraphQL & PostgreSQL) with 10+ Yrs experience in our Commerce Product team who possess the following skills:● 10+ years of hands-on experience, with significant expertise in the TypeScript, Node.js, and modern GraphQL ecosystems.● GraphQL & API Expertise: Direct experience with GraphQL Federation (Apollo Federation or a similar spec)and implementing federated gateways (GraphQL Hive Gateway, Apollo Gateway).○ Deep, hands-on experience with database-first GraphQL tools like PostGraphile.○ Proficiency with GraphQL schema management and registry tools like GraphQLHive.● Frontend Expertise:○ Strong knowledge of React and its modern ecosystem (Hooks, Context, StateManagement).○ Proficiency with modern frontend build tools, specifically Vite.○ Knowledge of front-end optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting)to enhance user experience.● Database Skills: Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, with demonstrated experience inrelational data modelling, advanced schema design, query optimization, and writingdatabase functions.● TypeScript Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, including its type system,tsconfig configuration, and application across both front-end and back-end contexts.● Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) andcontainerization. Knowledge of Docker and container implementations.● Version Control: Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git. Perform codereviews on PRs and resolve merge conflicts.● Preferred Qualifications:○ Experience with UI component development and documentation tools likeStorybook.○ Familiarity with the Next.js framework and its concepts (SSR, SSG).○ Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools(Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure Pipelines, etc.).● Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.● Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, andtime-management skills.● Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.Responsibilities: -● Full Stack TypeScript Development: Design, develop, and implement robustapplications using TypeScript across the entire stack, from Node.js-based GraphQLservices to the React/Vite frontend.● GraphQL API & Schema Management: Architect, extend, and maintain our federatedGraphQL API. Implement and manage the federated gateway using tools like GraphQLHive Gateway or Apollo Gateway. Leverage PostGraphile to create subgraphs fromour database schemas and manage the overall composed schema with GraphQL Hive.● Data Modeling and Database Design: Participate in the data modeling process anddesign of PostgreSQL schemas, functions, and permissions. Ensure the databasearchitecture serves as a stable and performant foundation for our PostGraphile layer.● Modern Frontend Development: Build, test, and deploy high-performance, accessible,and responsive user interfaces using React and the Vite toolchain.● Integration Testing: Write integration tests across the front-end applications, GraphQLAPI, and database interactions, utilizing frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.● Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to design and launch newfeatures in a fast-paced, agile environment.● Code Integrity & Type Safety: Champion end-to-end type safety from the databaseschema to the React components. Maintain code quality and organization throughrigorous code reviews and mentorship.● Security and Data Protection: Implement GraphQL security best practices andsafeguard data at the database, API, and client levels.● Performance Optimization and Automation: Conduct performance tuning on theGraphQL API and frontend, improve system balance, enhance usability, and automateprocesses.
