The ideal candidate will ensure that the company adheres to statutory and regulatory requirements across different geographies and maintains high standards of corporate governance.Key Responsibilities: - Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across various countries where the company operates. - Manage and maintain corporate records, board meeting minutes, and resolutions. - Provide guidance on corporate governance best practices and ensure their implementation. - Coordinate and manage Board of Directors’ meetings, Annual General Meetings, and related documentation. - Support global compliance audits and follow up on action items. - Keep track of changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices related to company secretarial functions. - Work closely with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure corporate compliance. - Maintain statutory registers and ensure all corporate filings are done accurately and on time. - Advise management on corporate legal matters and implications of new regulations. - Coordinate with consultants in each country to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. - Create and maintain a comprehensive compliance checklist covering all countries of operation. - Build and regularly update a centralized compliance database. - Maintain country-wise and compliance-wise data for easy reference, reporting, and tracking.Key Skills & Attributes: - In-depth knowledge of company law and compliance practices in India and globally. - Strong understanding of corporate governance principles. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. - Proficient in MS Office and compliance management tools. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Qualification: - Qualified Company Secretary (CS) – Mandatory - 2+ Years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a global organization
