Department Description:

• Provides US Tax Compliance and Accounting services support to its clients in the US.

Describe the role:

This position will:

• Support office operations, providing technical service.
• Comply with company values, expectations, and standard operating procedures.

Provide technical service regarding:

• Expertise with US Individual Returns (Form 1040)
• Basic experience with entity returns (Form 1065, 1120, & 1120S)
• All technical work performed thoroughly and efficiently, checking work for accuracy and completion before senior review.

Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:

• Technical implementation of tax return preparation (Form 1040, 1120, 1065)

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Participation and Oversight of the following:

• Preparation of 1040 and 1041 tax returns and their Supporting Forms and Schedules
• Organize supporting documentation.
• Some knowledge of US federal, state and local tax codes and publications.
• Timely responses to the IRS notices as per senior and lead managers comments
• The ability to prepare tax returns for businesses depended on experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to the US and foreign tax reporting.
• Efficient return of completed return with notes for senior manager review.
• Consideration of hours to accommodate client and ownership time zones.

Job Qualifications (The ideal candidate should have the following) Qualifications, Experience, Education:

• Technical Competence in the preparation of US Form 1040 - Personal Tax Return
• Some experience with entity compliance Form 1065, 11020, & 1120S
• Good working knowledge of accounting and general ledger systems
• Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and detailed timetables.
• Strong communication - presentation, written, and verbal - and analytical skills.
• Strong team player with a focus on client service.
• Ability to self-motivate and work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently.

• Technical aptitude
• Technical Competence with Software (good to have)
  • Microsoft Office products Teams, Excel, Word
  • Pro-Series (tax preparation software)
  • Quickbooks
  • Ability to learn new software as needed.

Special Knowledge (if applicable):

• Technical Competence of US Form 1040 is essential.
• Additional Technical Competence of US Form 1120(s) S-Corp Tax Return and US Form 1065 Partnership Tax Return would be ideal.
