Fiserv is looking for a Software Solution Architect with in-depth and current hands-on Domain Driven Designs, Event Based Architecture, API and micro services architecture. Experience in designing card issuance solutions that encompass credit cards, loans, and unsecured lending will be highly regarded.

You must be passionate about new technologies and demonstrate exposure to various technologies across Cloud, UI, Application, Security and Data architecture domains. You will join the Fiserv's Global Issuer organization's Architecture team to lead and build new cloud native applications. The ideal candidate will be required to work in a cross functional environment in defining end-to-end solutions and refining them with development teams.

As a Solution Architect, you are expected to be able to understand a broad range of application and product architecture; have a very strong history of working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and to be able to discuss and articulate solutions from the business perspective as well as at a technical level.

  • Bachelor's Degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related IT experience, designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications
  • Experience in designing card issuance solutions encompassing credit cards, loans, and unsecured lending.
  • Experience in creating context designs, UML and Entity Relationship diagrams
  • Exposure to a wide range of distributed and cloud technologies with experience of their integration and configuration: e.g. Cloud, Containerisation, Microservices, Kafka, Java/JavaScript, Quarkus/Spring, XML/JSON, Apigee/Mulesoft, ESB/Datapower, distributed databases Postgres/Yugabtye, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React, Mobile and Application Middleware, PhoneGap/ IOS/Android SDKs, CI/CD etc.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging technologies with good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, methodologies as well as all functional areas in an IT organization. Excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in both agile/scrum and waterfall life cycle application development.
  • Experience and comfort in mentoring junior staff
