Most of our young students lack exposure to the world of work. They are unable to understand the link between education and profession. “Why should I be good at Math to take up a job in the IT sector?”, “How can my creativity help me get a job in the media sector?”, “Will I be a good fit for the armed forces?”, “my friends are taking commerce, should I also?” questions like these trouble them and demotivate them and they don’t know whom to turn to. Answering these questions is our first step while providing exposure to 24 different sectors through a 3 year 21st century skills enabled STEAM Career Planning curriculum

Our role does not end there. We acknowledge that they could face many hurdles on their quest. We work to build agency in our students to face their problems successfully and achieve their goal.

Our partnership with the Karnataka State Government departments, along with the consistent support from corporates, individual donors, and well-wishers is helping us in achieving our vision.

Role Description

The HR and admin manager will play a key role in managing the HR function and providing administrative support towards building operational efficiency and effectiveness

Key Roles and Responsibilites

  • Taking ownership of recruitment function (Preparation of JD, posting of JD, identification and shortlisting of potential candidates, providing assistance in selection and offer process
  • Administer onboarding and induction process

  • Ensuring implementation and adoption of HR policies across the organisation
  • Ensure proper documentation and file management for all functional operations including maintaining the personal files of all employees, probation/ confirmation letters, etc.,
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement employee engagement strategies aimed at creating a positive work environment.
  • Timely execution of various activities of the performance management system cycle such as review discussions, annual appraisals, etc.,
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of the HR Management System (HRMS) by HR Partner to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
  • Assist HR Partner in timely payroll processing and salary disbursement

  • Work closely with leadership to develop and implement strategies for talent training and development
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and government regulations

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth functioning of administrative processes and procedures.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of company events, such as conferences, seminars, and team-building activities.
  • Overseeing facilities maintenance and repairs. Coordinating office renovations or relocations as necessary.

Key Requirements Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Any Graduation with Post-Graduation/MBA in HR preferable

  • 2 4 years of experience in handling the HR Function at small/middle sized organisations

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and having knowledge of Kannada

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and juggle multiple priorities
