Our client's are MNC's n the maritime industry and looking hire Technical Superintendents and Chief Engineers interested in transitioning to a shore based position.

Technical Superintendent's - Container, Bulk, or Tanker

ORGANIZATION:

You will be in-charge of managing the technical and operational performance of 3-4 bulk, container or tanker vessels. Your key role is to ensure safe and efficient operations of the company's vessels, their routine and preventive maintenance, and that all international marine requirements are complied with.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical management and operations of assigned vessels efficiently
  • Health, Safety and Environment Compliance
  • Budget management
  • Human capital development and People management
  • Relationship management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must be a qualified Marine Engineer; a degree in business or any related discipline will be an added advantage
  • At least one year as a Chief Engineer on Container, Bulk carriers or Tankers Vessels
  • Experience in completing dry docking and PSC inspections
  • People oriented and passionate about developing shipboard teams
  • Highly analytical with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Well updated with the latest regulatory requirements and its implementation
