Job Purpose:The O&M Site In-Charge will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance optimization of solar power plants in Karnataka. The role ensures plant availability, reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management:Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants to ensure optimal performance.Monitor SCADA systems, energy yields, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.Team Management:Supervise, train, and manage O&M technicians and contractors.Allocate manpower efficiently and ensure adherence to safety standards.Conduct periodic performance reviews and on-site trainings.Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve technical issues in PV modules, inverters, transformers, and electrical systems.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for major repairs.Maintain detailed maintenance logs and technical reports.Compliance & Safety:Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and environmental standards.Implement safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture on-site.Conduct periodic safety audits and risk assessments.Reporting & Analytics:Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.Track plant performance metrics and suggest improvements.Support management in performance analysis and strategic decision-making.
