The IT/Cloud Administrator is a critical role within the organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and cloud-based services.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal resource utilization.

  • Manage physical and virtual server environments, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.

  • Information Security:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies and procedures to protect the company's data and systems.

    • Stay informed about the latest security trends and threats to proactively mitigate risks.

    • Manage and monitor security logs and alerts for early detection of potential breaches.

    • Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

    • Remote Access Management:

    • Configure and manage secure remote access solutions for employees and contractors.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies on remote work and BYOD (bring your own device).

    • Provide technical support to remote users to resolve connectivity issues and ensure seamless access to company resources.

    • End-Point Management:

    • Manage and maintain end-point devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

    • Implement and enforce device security policies, including encryption, password management, and software updates.

    • Monitor and troubleshoot end-point devices to ensure optimal performance and security.

    • Google Workspace Administration:

    • Administer Google Workspace, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and email management.

    • Configure and manage Google Workspace features such as Drive, Calendar, and Meet to enhance collaboration and productivity.

    • Provide training and support to users on the effective use of Google Workspace tools.

    • Technical Support:

    • Provide technical support to employees and contractors, including troubleshooting IT issues, resolving user queries, and assisting with software and hardware-related problems.

    • Maintain a knowledge base of IT solutions to efficiently resolve common issues.

    • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.

    • Continuous Learning and Innovation:

    • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies through ongoing learning and professional development.

    • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can enhance the company's IT infrastructure and operations.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative IT solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in IT administration, with a focus on cloud computing and information security.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex IT environments, including cloud platforms, on-premises infrastructure, and end-point devices.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Proficiency in information security best practices and compliance standards, including ISO 27001/27002, SOC 2, and HIPAA.

  • Experience with secure remote access solutions such as VPN, MFA, and Duo.

  • Experience with end-point management solutions such as MDM, EMM, and Microsoft Intune.

  • Experience with Google Workspace administration and configuration.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
