Role DescriptionJoin a large US-based enterprise software product company as a DevOps Engineer at their Hyderabad office, where you'll play a critical role in managing infrastructure as code, enabling seamless software development, and optimizing continuous integration and system administration processes on Linux systems.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE roles.Minimum of 3+ years of extensive, hands-on experience in deploying and managing a wide array of services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform is a must, demonstrating a deep ability to provision and manage complex GCP resources, especially network components.Deep and demonstrable expertise in GCP networking concepts, services, and best practices. This includes advanced knowledge of:VPC, Shared VPC, Subnets, IP allocation strategies (primary/secondary ranges)Firewall Rules, Network Tags, Service Accounts for network controlCloud Load Balancing (External, Internal, Global, Regional) and associated health checksCloud DNS, Cloud NAT, Cloud Router, VPN, Cloud InterconnectPrivate Google Access, Private Service ConnectNetwork troubleshooting tools and methodologies on GCP.Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration platforms, specifically Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including its networking model.Proven track record in setting up and managing robust CI/CD pipelines (e.G., Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for both infrastructure and application deployments.Solid scripting skills in one or more languages (e.G., Python, Go, Bash) for automation tasks.Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, particularly Google Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver) and Cloud Logging, with specific experience in network metrics.Familiarity with database management concepts and experience with GCP database services (e.G., Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Firestore).Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.Familiarity with NodeJS & TypescriptExcellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification highly desired.GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification.Experience with migrating on-premise workloads or applications from other cloud providers to GCP, with a strong focus on network connectivity.Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles focused on deployment velocity and stability.Experience with serverless deployment patterns using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and their integration into existing VPCs.Knowledge of data analytics services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and how to deploy them effectively within network constraints.
