Overview:

The Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Analyst is responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining Oracle EPM solutions to improve financial planning, analysis, reporting, and consolidation processes. This role collaborates closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable, and accurate EPM systems that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Implementation and Configuration

  • Design, configure, and maintain Oracle EPM Cloud applications (e.g., PBCS, FCCS).
  • Develop and manage metadata, business rules, calculations, and data integrations.
  • Lead or assist with system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

2. Business Support and Analysis

  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and ad hoc queries to support business needs.
  • Provide training and end-user support for Oracle EPM tools and functionalities.

3. Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to streamline budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all financial systems.

4. Data Integration and Management

  • Develop and manage ETL processes to integrate Oracle EPM with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration workflows for consistency and accuracy.

5. Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and changes.

6. Project Management

  • Plan and manage EPM-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants/vendors as required.

Required Experience:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud applications such as FCCS and/or EPBCS.
  • Experience with Smart View, Essbase, and Hyperion.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and data integration tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
