About the Role :
We are seeking a talented and innovative Generative AI Engineer with hands-on experience in Gemini Models and Vertex AI to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work on developing cutting-edge generative AI solutions, leveraging Google Cloud's Vertex AI to build, optimize, and scale machine learning models. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced AI-driven solutions that enhance business processes, provide actionable insights, and create next-generation AI products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and deploy Generative AI models, with a strong focus on Gemini Models (or relevant generative architectures).
- Implement and optimize AI and machine learning solutions using Vertex AI.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to build end-to-end machine learning pipelines.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance, making iterative improvements based on feedback and results.
- Develop and deploy scalable ML models using cloud technologies, primarily on Google Cloud Platform.
- Work on natural language processing (NLP), image generation, or other generative AI tasks depending on the product and team needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Generative AI, Vertex AI, and the broader AI Experience: 4-8 years in AI/ML development, with proven expertise in Generative AI, Vertex AI, and relevant technologies.
- Technical Skills:
o Strong hands-on experience with Gemini Models and related AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
o Expertise in working with Vertex AI for model deployment, management, and optimization.
o Proficient in cloud platforms (primarily Google Cloud), and experience with Vertex AI offerings.
o Deep understanding of ML Ops, model versioning, and scalable ML systems.
o Experience with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and other ML libraries.
o Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and/or Computer Vision techniques (depending on project focus).
- Programming Skills:
o Proficient in Python (essential), and experience with other languages like Java, Go, or Scala is a plus.
o Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data processing tools (BigQuery, etc.).
- Education:
o A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (Master's or PhD is a plus).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud architecture.
- Familiarity with model performance metrics, hyperparameter tuning, and model explain ability.
- Prior exposure to developing AI applications at scale in an enterprise setting.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI principles, including GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), and transformers.
