Job Title: Power BI DeveloperLocation: [hyderabad] Department: Business Intelligence / Data Analytics Reports to: BI ManagerJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team and help turn raw data into actionable insights using Microsoft Power BI. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports, providing support in data analysis, and working with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that drive business performance.Key Responsibilities:Data Modeling & ETL: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI data models using SQL, DAX, Power Query, and other tools to support business intelligence and reporting needs.Dashboard & Report Development: Build interactive, visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.Data Integration: Integrate various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, web services, and third-party APIs) into Power BI.Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze business requirements and data, collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs, and deliver insights through automated reports and dashboards.Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize report performance to ensure efficiency and scalability.Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business users and IT teams to understand reporting requirements, provide training, and ensure data integrity.Documentation & Best Practices: Document solutions, design processes, and ensure adherence to Power BI best practices for data governance, security, and performance.Key Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills:Expertise in Power BI (Desktop, Service, and Power BI Report Server).Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and M code.Proficient in database management and SQL, including querying large datasets and optimizing queries for performance.Experience with data visualization principles and creating interactive dashboards.Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies like Azure Data Services, SQL Server, and Microsoft Excel.Experience:Minimum of5to 10 years of hands-on experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.Proven experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and report performance tuning.Experience in business intelligence or analytics roles, with a solid understanding of KPIs, metrics, and data analysis.Soft Skills:Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or SAP BusinessObjects.Experience with Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, or other cloud-based data solutions.Knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, or AI integrations with Power BI.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing data-driven environment.Collaborate with top-tier professionals and learn the latest BI and analytics technologies.Competitive salary and benefits package.Work-life balance and opportunities for career growth.
