About the role

We are in search of a Senior Data Analyst based in India to play a crucial role in scaling our analytics operations within the Center for Data and Insights (CDI). In this role you will collaborate closely with business leaders, partners, and stakeholders on a global scale, engaging in ad hoc analysis, storytelling, dashboard creation, reporting, and metric observability.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Visualization: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and insights, creating engaging visualizations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholdersCollaboration with Internal Partners: Work closely with global teams to build relationships, discuss analytics needs, and manage expectations for analytics tasks and processesDashboard Development: Design and distribute certified dashboards using Tableau, ensuring they meet the needs of various departments and facilitate informed decision-makingActionable Recommendations: Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations, using structured analytical thinking to support business objectivesHands-On Data Management: Utilize SQL and SQL-like interfaces to query complex databases, OLAP engines, data warehouses, and data lakes, ensuring data quality and accessibilityContinuous Improvement: Contribute to a culture of high-quality output by maintaining effective communication, responding to challenges promptly, and fostering a customer-focused approachProject Execution: Actively participate in the execution of analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with departmental objectives

In the role of Senior Data Analyst, you will be working as an individual contributor and report to the Director, Data Analytics. This role is based out of Hyderabad, India.

About You

You bring over 8+ years of extensive experience in data analysis, advanced analytics, and statistical methodologies, along with a proven track record in experimentation and optimization

8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python, coupled with proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Power BIExperience defining KPIs, statistical and predictive modeling concepts, descriptive statistics, and experimental designExperience working with large datasets (Terabytes of data/ billions of records)Experience working across a globally matrixed organizationBachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a strong foundational knowledge and expertise
