The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Vlocity platform, Salesforce configuration, and customization capabilities, and will be passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.
Location : Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune / Gurgaon / Chennai / Mumbai
Shift Timings : 12 PM - 9 PM / 1 PM - 10 PM (2 to 3 days Work From Office)
Experience : 5+ years of relevant experience in Vlocity development
Job Summary :
The Salesforce Developer (Vlocity Focus) will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Salesforce platform and Vlocity Industry Clouds.
This includes working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into technical designs, and building robust and scalable applications.
The role requires a strong understanding of Vlocity OmniStudio, Salesforce configuration, and customization best practices.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, leveraging Vlocity configuration and customization.
- Analyze User Story requirements and develop independently.
- Understand functional requirements and develop technical designs using standard patterns.
- Effectively communicate these designs to the team.
- Proficiency in understanding the underlying Vlocity data model across industries and building solutions keeping a 'Vlocity First' approach in mind.
- Develop and maintain Vlocity OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, Calculation Procedures, Calculation Matrices, Angular Templates, Vlocity LWC, and Vlocity IDX.
- Perform Salesforce configuration, including Workflows, Process Builder, Sharing and Security Settings.
- Develop Salesforce customizations using Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Apex Batch, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Lightning Aura Components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical team members, and management.
- Mentor junior team members on Vlocity and Salesforce development.
- Triage defects independently and support deployments/releases.
- Contribute to practice-level initiatives in building go-to-market solutions, assets, and accelerators.
Must-Have Skills :
- Experience with one of the Vlocity Industry Clouds (Health, Insurance, Communications, and Public Sector experience is highly preferred).
- Platform-level understanding of OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, Calculation Procedures, Calculation Matrices, Angular Templates, Vlocity LWC, and Vlocity IDX.
- Experience in Salesforce Configuration (Workflows, Process Builder, Sharing-Security Settings) and Customization (Apex, Triggers, Apex Classes, Apex Batch, LWC, Lightning Aura).
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Proficiency in understanding the underlying Vlocity data model across industries.
- Ability to analyze User Story requirements and develop independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in triaging defects and supporting deployments/releases.
Preferred Skills :
- Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer or Consultant.
- Vlocity Industry certifications.
- Salesforce.com Admin or Developer certified.
- Knowledge of Apex and LWC.
- Vlocity Industry experience in one of the preferred industries (Health, Insurance, Communications, and Government)
