About the Role:

As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will empower individuals of all ages to achieve greater independence and quality of life. You'll provide assessment, intervention, and education in diverse community settings, supporting clients with a range of needs—including sensory integration and assistive technology for both children and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' functional abilities and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy focused on sensory integration, daily living skills, and adaptive strategies.
  • Recommend and implement assistive technology to enhance client independence.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Educate clients and stakeholders on strategies to improve participation in daily activities.
  • Document progress and outcomes, maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience in community-based occupational therapy, with strengths in sensory integration and assistive technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered approach.
  • Willingness to relocate to Australia; comprehensive migration and registration support provided.
