Job Description : Guidewire Portal Business Analyst (BA)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Portal Business Analyst (BA) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and optimizing Guidewire Digital Portals (Customer, Agent, and Vendor Portals) within our organization. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, serving as a liaison between the business and technical teams, and ensuring that the Guidewire portals effectively align with the business's objectives and needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Guidewire Digital Portals (Customer, Agent, and Vendor Portals) and Guidewire Policy Center.

- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements to ensure alignment with Guidewire Portal capabilities and business objectives.

- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of priorities.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of the Guidewire Portals and ensure that all project requirements are met on time and within scope.

- Participate in the configuration and optimization of Guidewire Policy Center and Portal functionalities.

- Analyze and resolve any issues related to the Guidewire Portal, working with technical teams to identify root causes and propose solutions.

- Define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new Portal features and enhancements.

Collaborate with testing teams to ensure business requirements are met through thorough testing and validation.

Provide training and support to end users to ensure effective utilization of the portals.

Stay up-to-date with new features and capabilities of Guidewire Portal and Policy Center to continuously improve business processes.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Guidewire Portal (Customer, Agent, and Vendor Portals).

- Deep understanding of Guidewire Policy Center and its integration with Digital Portals.

- Excellent experience in requirements gathering and business analysis.

- Proficiency in business process mapping and documenting functional requirements.

- Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and effectively communicate both business and technical concepts.

- Proven experience in working in an Agile environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Additional experience with Guidewire Policy Center and Portal knowledge is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with other Guidewire modules or tools is a plus.

- Knowledge of insurance industry processes and best practices.
