The Role

Join Kyndryl as a Data Visualization Designer / Specialist where you will unlock the power of data to drive strategic decisions and shape the future of our business. As a key member of our team, you will harness your expertise in basic statistics, business fundamentals, and communication to uncover valuable insights and transform raw data into rigorous visualizations and compelling stories. 

Your role goes beyond traditional data analysis and will require data designing dashboards, scorecards that can showcase the story. You will be a trusted advisor, utilizing your domain expertise, critical thinking, and consulting skills to unravel complex business problems and translate them into innovative solutions. Your proficiency in Data Visualization skills will empower you to gather, explore, and prepare data - ensuring it is primed for analysis, business intelligence, and insightful visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design interactive and static visualizations that effectively communicate insights.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, and other tools.

  • Proficiency in data design and storytelling, shown through a comprehensive portfolio.

  • Collaborate with data teams and business stakeholders to meet visualization needs.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough testing and validation.

  • Stay current with data visualization trends and best practices.

  • Provide training and support on visualization tools and techniques.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 6 years of experience in data design, data visualization and analysis, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of previous work.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, User Experience design or equivalent software.

  • Expertise in data design and storytelling, demonstrated through a strong portfolio.

  • In-depth understanding of data analysis, marketing data measurement, and statistical methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for non-technical audiences.

  • High attention to detail and strong design abilities.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail
