We have the product on the market, the first clients, and sufficient runway. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Python and experience in backend development and data processing. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion dedicated to Python programming. Key Responsibilities - Backend Development:
Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Python. Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our data services.
- Data Processing:
Develop and maintain processes for handling large datasets, including data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis.
- API Development:
Design and implement APIs that enable seamless data retrieval and manipulation for frontend applications.
- Collaboration and Integration:
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with other software systems and solutions within the company.
- Performance Tuning:
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve system efficiency.
- Code Quality:
Maintain high code standards, write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and contribute to code reviews. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience with a focus on Python.
- Proven track record of backend development and creating efficient data processing pipelines.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
