We design, engineer, and execute solar projects for residential, commercial, and industrial clients with a focus on quality, innovation, and long-term performance.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Solar Engineer with strong technical expertise in the design, execution, and commissioning of solar PV systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with solar project engineering, site surveys, structural and electrical design, and should be comfortable coordinating between design, procurement, and installation teams.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and load analysis for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.Design solar PV systems (DC & AC side) using tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, or any other toolPrepare single line diagrams (SLD), layouts, cable schedules, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).Perform shading analysis and optimize system performance and tilt/azimuth angles.Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure technical specifications are met.Assist in vendor evaluation and material inspection (modules, inverters, structures, cables, etc.).Oversee project execution, installation quality, and system testing & commissioning.Prepare project documentation, DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), and as-built drawings.Support O&M team with performance analysis and troubleshooting.Stay updated on latest MNRE/CEA guidelines, DISCOM regulations, and industry best practices.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering (or related field).1–3 years of experience in solar EPC design or project execution (freshers with strong technical skills may be considered).Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel,or any related tool.Strong understanding of solar PV components, balance of system, and grid integration.Familiarity with MNRE, DISCOM net-metering procedures, and electrical safety standards.Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsCertification or training in Solar PV Design / Project Management.Experience in both on-grid and hybrid/off-grid systems.Knowledge of structure design and load calculations for rooftops and ground-mounted systems.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Performance-based incentives.Opportunities for skill development, certification, and career growth within the solar EPC sector.Exposure to cutting-edge renewable energy projects.How to ApplyInterested candidates can send their updated CV and portfolio to contact@solanovaenergy.comwith the subject line: “Application for Solar Engineer – Gorakhpur”
