Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a proven track record in the construction industry to handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support project cost tracking. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple project accounts simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable , bank reconciliation, and vendor payments.
- Manage project-wise cost tracking , budgeting, and expense monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow statements, ledgers, and MIS reports .
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for material & labour billing .
- Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance , including timely filing of returns.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
- Reconcile supplier & subcontractor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist management in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports .
Key Requirements:
- Mandatory: Prior experience in Construction / Infrastructure company.
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / accounting software .
- Sound understanding of project accounting & costing methods .
- Good knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) & statutory compliance .
- Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
