Company Description

Xret Analytics Private Limited is a knowledge process outsourcing company based in Kochi. We provide back-office support to one of the leading CA firms in the UAE.

Role Description

1. Preparation of Financial Statements:

Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS) using CaseWare Financials.

2. Customize CaseWare templates to align with client-specific reporting requirements and industry formats.

3. CaseWare Management:

Maintain and update CaseWare Working Papers files to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data.

4. Leverage CaseView for designing and modifying financial statement templates and notes.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve CaseWare-related issues, including formatting, roll-forward, and linkage errors.

6. Audit Support & Coordination:

Collaborate with auditors by providing draft and final financial statements, supporting schedules, and audit evidence.

7. Address auditor queries regarding disclosures and presentational matters in the financials.

8. Accounting and Compliance:

Ensure financial statements comply with applicable financial reporting frameworks, legal requirements, and internal policies.

9. Stay updated on new accounting standards and disclosure requirements, implementing them into the reporting process.

10. Data Management & Integration:

Import trial balances into CaseWare, performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Map accounts correctly within the CaseWare structure for proper presentation and disclosure.

11. Documentation & Review:

Maintain detailed documentation for financial statement preparation procedures, assumptions, and changes made during the review process.

12. Perform self-review and/or peer review of financial statements to ensure completeness and quality.

13. Continuous Improvement:

Identify process improvement opportunities in financial reporting using CaseWare tools and automation features.

14. Provide training and guidance to junior staff on efficient use of CaseWare software.

Qualifications

  • CA Inter or ACCA and above
  • 1-2 years' experience in CaseWare Financials
