Building full websites, and adding custom CSS/JS magic where needed.This role is for someone who loves clean code, hates plugin bloat, and can single-handedly deliver robust, responsive, well-engineered websites.ResponsibilitiesWebsite DevelopmentBuild full websites in WordPress — theme builder, templates, global styling, the works.Translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into clean, responsive, high-fidelity frontend builds.Rebuild & migrate old WPBakery pages into Elementor without breaking SEO, URLs, or sanity.Custom Code OwnershipWrite clean, organised CSS for custom styling and layout improvements.Develop custom JS/jQuery functions for interactions, animations, and logic that Elementor can’t handle.Make small PHP tweaks (hooks, filters, template changes) within a child theme.Performance, QA & MaintenanceEnsure responsiveness across breakpoints (no weird mobile layouts).Optimise pages for speed, SEO hygiene, and plugin sanity.Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, theme bugs, random WordPress mood swings.Maintain and update existing websites when required.CollaborationWork closely with the design team to ensure builds match creative intent.Ask smart questions. Push back when needed. Suggest alternatives when something is technically silly.RequirementsTechnical Must-Haves3–5 years of hands-on WordPress development (not drag-and-drop beginners).Strong expertise in Elementor Pro (theme builder, templates, custom widgets preferred).Ability to understand and migrate pages built in WPBakery.Excellent HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid skills.Competent in JavaScript/jQuery — can build or tweak interactions without depending on plugins.Basic PHP knowledge specific to WordPress.Familiarity with Git for version control.Nice-to-HavesExperience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).Familiarity with animation libraries (GSAP, Locomotive Scroll, Lenis).Understanding of SEO best practices.Experience working in creative/design-first agencies.Personality FitDetail-obsessed.Loves clean structure and hates sloppy work.Can work independently and own delivery end-to-end.Calm under pressure, curious by nature, allergic to excuses.What You GetThe chance to build global-standard websites for FMCG, tech, B2B, and creative brands.A design-led environment where creativity isn’t a suggestion — it’s a mandate.Creative freedom, zero micromanagement (we hire adults).A team that’s fun, sharp, slightly unhinged, and always pushing boundaries.Growth.
