CCTV/Surveillance Operator

Our client is seeking Surveillance Operators to join their team in a supermarket chain in West Africa. As a Surveillance Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the store premises. Your primary tasks will include observing live camera feeds, reviewing recorded footage to detect suspicious activities, and promptly reporting any incidents or breaches to the appropriate authorities. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a Surveillance or CCTV Operator, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused during extended monitoring periods. Familiarity with CCTV systems and excellent communication skills are essential for this role, along with a proactive and vigilant approach to security.
Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring all surveillance security systems/cameras for supermarket stores in an efficient manner and in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation, and best practices.
- Recording all events, incidents, and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format.
- To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations and also to ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times and to report equipment failure to the Chief Security Officer or Management.
- Liaising with the security agencies and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system and to include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence.
- Place of work is in Africa.
Requirements
- Mandatory to have at least 5 years' experience in a similar job in India.
- Mandatory to have work experience solely in India, doing surveillance at supermarket stores.
- Previous experience working as a CCTV Survaillance Operator
- Vigilant and attentive to detail

- Ability to work long hours and maintain focus

Benefits
Salary: from 800-1.000 US Dollar (gross sum per month, pre-tax of 25% in
West Africa, and pre-tax of 8-20% for fund remittance fee back to country of origin).
Food subsidy: Food subsidy paid by day based on company policy.

Travel: Yearly ticket back to country of origin paid by company for holidays.
