Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of accounting processes, including Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, expenses accruals, inventory valuation & accounting, and product cost determination. The candidate should have advanced Excel skills and preferably experience with QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis and prepare reports to provide insights into financial performance and trends.
Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
Accurately calculate and manage expenses accruals and ensure proper documentation.
Oversee inventory valuation and accounting, ensuring proper methods and principles are applied.
Determine the costs of products sold and maintain product cost records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure financial targets are met.
Continuously improve accounting and financial reporting processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Strong understanding of expenses accruals, inventory valuation, and product cost accounting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
Preferably experience working with QuickBooks Online.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
