Designation: - Senior Manager – L&D
Job Summary:
The Senior Learning and Development Manager is responsible for leading the development,
implementation, and evaluation of the organization's learning and development programs.
This role involves designing strategies to enhance employee skills, drive organizational
growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning. The Sr. L&D Manager will work closely
with senior leadership to align training initiatives with business objectives and will oversee a
team of L&D professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic learning and development plan that aligns with the
hotel's business goals and enhances operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
2. Conduct training needs assessments across all departments to identify skill gaps and areas
for improvement, ensuring relevant and impactful training programs.
3. Design, develop, and implement innovative training programs covering customer service,
leadership, technical skills, and compliance, utilizing a mix of e-learning, workshops, and on
the-job training.
4. Identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to prepare them
for leadership roles, fostering career growth and retention within the organization.
5. Lead and mentor the L&D team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high
quality training delivery across all departments.
6. Develop and manage a performance management system that integrates training outcomes
into appraisals, working closely with HR and department heads to drive continuous
improvement.
7. Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of training programs, providing insights
on ROI and making data-driven recommendations for improvements to senior management.
8. Ensure all training programs meet legal, regulatory, and brand standards, regularly
reviewing and updating content to maintain compliance and relevance.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in learning and development, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or senior role.
Skills:
o Proven experience in developing and managing comprehensive learning programs.
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant technology.
o Ability to analyze data and generate insights to drive program effectiveness.
