As an Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), candidate will be predominantly involved in developing and implementing test automation framework/solutions for modern applications(React/Angular/AEM) with Microservices architecture .The successful candidate will be a primary contributor in ensuring end to end quality of the application by developing automated frameworks; design, develop and execute test cases/ test scripts in CI/CD pipelines supporting all types of applications testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure high software qualityWork as part of the team to achieve key business objectivesWork on large, complex projects to achieve key business objectivesCollaborate with the team on application architecture design, decision-making and process automationWork on a time sensitive and highly visibility initiative to stabilize the existing regression suite and bring it up to date with the latest code base to test web and mobile OS/browsers combinationsAssist with solutions to validate complex scenarios at a code or infrastructure levelReview issues found via automation or manual testing to determine if there are environmental issuesDetermine root cause of issues (i.e. database, file systems, etc.) and work with the Development teams to resolve themThey should have the relevant automation experience to understand the existing framework and scale up quickly to debug the scriptsProvide feedback to the teams on improvements and assist in coming up with a sustainable maintenance process. Experience in Agile testing methodologies will helpProvide alternate design solutions in automation phaseDesign and implement test enhancements in collaboration with development team through automationTroubleshoot post-production issues and identify root causePredict emerging customer needs and develop test plan to meet themReviewing and updating the existing Automation framework for data driven testing approach as well as enhancing for supporting cross browser (specifically mobile) testingComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience as Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET)3+ years of experience developing test automation or combination of development in Playwright tool and test automation experience2+ years of experience with agile methodologiesSolid experience in Playwright tool and automation testing using PlaywrightExperience to write test code to test product/application codeExperience with unit testing and test-driven methodologies using Playwright and Java Script/Java codingExperience with test automation framework development and Implementation using prominent design patterns - Robot /BDD/Hybrid or Data Driven FrameworksExperience with Acceptance Test Driven DevelopmentTest automation experience using Java Script, Java, JUnit, Jenkins, Maven, Playwright, Selenium web driver and BDD frameworks like CucumberProven solid Java script coding skills (any other scripting skills Java and Python are good to have)Mobile and Web application experience in a SDET capacity
