We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and web technologies.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. You will also contribute to scalability, performance testing, and API testing to enhance the overall test coverage and system robustness.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Test Automation & Execution:

  • oDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to validate web application functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • oExecute automated tests across multiple browsers and versions to ensure compatibility and consistency.
  • oDebug and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and implement solutions for test reliability.
  • oMaintain and optimize the test automation framework to align with application updates and Playwright advancements.

2.Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD):

  • oIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI to facilitate continuous delivery.
  • oWork closely with DevOps and development teams to streamline automation in the software release cycle.

3.Performance & Scalability Optimization:

  • oConduct scalability and performance testing to assess the application's ability to handle high workloads and stress conditions.
  • oUse tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner to simulate and analyze real-world user interactions.

4.API Testing & Backend Validation:

  • oDevelop and execute API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or SOAPUI to validate backend functionality and integration points.

5.Collaboration & Reporting:

  • oWork closely with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps) to define test scenarios and prioritize testing efforts.
  • oGenerate detailed test reports and provide feedback to stakeholders on software quality and potential risks.

Requirements:

1.Education & Certification:

  • oBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

2.Experience:

  • o1+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation using Playwright.

3.Technical Skills:

  • oStrong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation.
  • oHands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (e.g., Puppeteer, Selenium).
  • oSolid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • oExperience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SOAPUI).
  • oFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI) for test automation integration.
  • oExperience with scalability and performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner).

4.Soft Skills:

  • oStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • oExcellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • oAbility to work effectively in an agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • oExperience with other automation frameworks like Cypress, WebDriverIO.
  • oKnowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • oUnderstanding of cloud-based testing solutions.
