Job Title: Senior Technical Writer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our team at Multi-Recruit. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  • Deliver product documentation (administrator guide, user guide, integration guide, deployment guide, how-to articles, best practices, and release notes) for multiple releases of one or more products.
  • Develop FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and KB articles for one or more products.
  • Deliver content in HTML, PDF, or other formats as required.
  • Collaborate with engineering, support, and services teams to ensure timely delivery of documentation.
  • Work closely with UI designers to understand screen design and flow.
  • Partner with product managers to develop documentation plans.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet all documentation deliverable deadlines.
  • Mentor and manage a team of writers.
  • Ensure quality criteria are met for all document deliverables through thorough review of all deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science (preferably B.E Computer Science).
  • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and MySQL databases.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in writing software documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development methodology.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Visio, SnagIt, PuTTy, WinSCP.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Technical Communication Suite or other content management systems.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technical writing tools and standards for product documentation.
  • Experience creating how-to videos.
