This role is pivotal in shaping our enterprise architecture, driving modern software engineering practices, and embedding DevSecOps across the organization. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that power our digital insurance platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team of 150+ professionals. - Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with the company’s digital transformation goals. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Enterprise Architecture- Own and evolve the enterprise architecture to support scalability, agility, and resilience. - Ensure alignment between business goals and technology architecture. - Drive adoption of microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven systems.Software Engineering Excellence- Establish and enforce best practices in software development, testing, and deployment. - Champion agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation. - Ensure high code quality, performance, and maintainability across all products.DevSecOps & Security- Integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle. - Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, compliant, and auditable systems. - Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., IRDAI).People & Delivery Management- Build and scale engineering teams with a focus on talent development and retention. - Oversee project delivery, resource planning, and performance management. - Drive engineering KPIs such as velocity, quality, uptime, and customer satisfaction.Qualifications & Experience- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. - Proven experience in leading large-scale engineering teams (100+ people). - Strong background in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern tech stacks. - Deep understanding of DevSecOps, agile delivery, and secure coding practices. - Experience in BFSI or insurance domain is highly desirable.Preferred Skills- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment. - Passion for mentoring and growing engineering talent.How to Apply:If you are excited to be part of a team dedicated to innovation and excellence, please submit your resume.
