With offices in multiple countries and over 500 professionals, the Group achieved a revenue of approximately USD 1.0 billion in FY 2025.Job Title: Head – Civil (Integrated Steel Plant Project)Location: Project Site, Chandrapur, Maharashtra, IndiaReporting to: Chief Executive OfficerQualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringIndustry: Integrated Greenfield Steel Plant (Pellet, Gasification, DRI, SMS, Rolling Mill)  About the Role To lead and manage the entire civil, structural, and infrastructure scope of Greta Energy’s Integrated Green Steel Plant Project — covering design review, planning, execution, and handover. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering all civil works safely, within budget, and in line with technical and quality standards for a multi-unit steel complex.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and EngineeringOversee design development and review for all plant and non-plant civil structures (foundations, RCC buildings, retaining structures, roads, drains, and utilities).Coordinate with process licensors, engineering consultants, and EPC contractors to ensure design adequacy and constructability.Validate geotechnical, topographical, and foundation design reports and drawings.Approve civil/structural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.Project Planning and ExecutionLead and monitor all civil and structural construction activities for the integrated steel plant, including pellet plant, gasification, DRI, SMS, and rolling mill units.Prepare and review work schedules, progress reports, and resource planning to ensure milestone achievement.Ensure site readiness and sequencing for major equipment foundations and structures.Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site teams for productivity, quality, and safety compliance.Quality Assurance and ComplianceImplement QA/QC systems as per IS, BIS, and international standards.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality review meetings.Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and statutory compliances.Maintain proper documentation and ensure traceability for all civil works. Cost and Contract ManagementAssist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract finalisation for civil and structural works.Control project budgets and approve variations in consultation with project control and procurement teams.Review contractor bills, change orders, and claims as per contractual terms.Leadership and CoordinationLead a multidisciplinary civil and structural engineering team including site engineers, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel.Coordinate interfaces between Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Project Control departments.Mentor junior engineers and develop competency within the civil project team.Represent the civil function in project review meetings with management and external stakeholders.ExperienceMinimum 20 years of experience in large-scale integrated steel plants, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects, with at least one greenfield project executed end-to-end.Proven track record in foundation design for heavy equipment, RCC and structural steel works, and large-scale industrial construction management.Strong knowledge of civil design codes, QA/QC systems, and project management tools (MS Project/Primavera).Experience in managing EPC contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.Key Skills and CompetenciesLeadership and team managementStrong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilityContract and cost control acumenExcellent coordination and communication skillsCommitment to safety, quality, and sustainabilityAbility to deliver under tight timelines in complex industrial environmentsInterested candidates can send their resume to “career_dubai@greta.in and sanjay.pandey@greta.in ” with the subject line: Application for “Head- Civil ”
