Job Description for GM- Operations-

Role Summary:

The General Manager – Operations will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of multiple hypermarket/supermarket locations across Kerala. The role involves strategic planning, people management, sales and margin enhancement, customer experience, and operational excellence to ensure sustained growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations across all hypermarket and supermarket stores in Kerala.

Drive the profitability and customer footfall.

Ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain coordination.

Maintain high standards in store presentation/layout, service, and hygiene.

Lead, train, and motivate store managers and frontline staff.

Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.

Profile Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Business or Retail Management.

10+ years of experience in retail operations, preferably in hypermarkets.

Strong leadership, commercial, and operational skills.

Preferred- Familiarity with Kerala's retail market and local consumer behavior.

Proficiency in Malayalam is a plus
