More information available on the company website at: Job Title Product Owner (Mobile App & Web) Job Overview The Product Owner (Mobile App & Web) will support the planning, documentation, and delivery of Ed-admin’s mobile and web application features. The role involves product ownership and analytical responsibilities, ensuring that product requirements are well-defined, user-centric, and aligned with business goals. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Owner, Development Team, and other stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements, as well as contribute to prioritizing and managing the mobile app and web backlog. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about mobile app and web development and the EdTech domain. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and user requirements. Translate requirements into clear, actionable user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. Maintain and prioritize the mobile app & web product backlog in alignment with business goals. Work closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure proper understanding and implementation of requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Support the Product Owner in defining the product roadmap and feature priorities. Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new features. Gather and analyze user feedback, metrics, and analytics to suggest product improvements. Maintain detailed documentation for requirements, workflows, and release notes. Education Essential Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Certification or coursework in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management. Experience Essential 2+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role. Experience working with mobile /web applications or digital products. Preferred Experience in an EdTech environment or with SaaS-based platforms. Hands-on experience using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar Agile management platforms. Technical Skills Essential Understanding of mobile app and web development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Familiarity with app analytics and reporting tools. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Preferred Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles. Knowledge of APIs and integration processes. Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Notion, or Confluence. Interpersonal Skills Essential Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment. Preferred Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies. Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with cross-functional teams. Remuneration USD 16-20 Working day and hours Mon to Fri, some weekend work may be necessary to support our operation which is 24 x 7 Working hours are 8 hrs minimum between 8am to 6pm CAT Date needed to Start As soon as possible Onboarding and Local Environment Setup As part of our comprehensive onboarding process, successful candidates will be required to undergo an induction that may span over a few days. It is important to note that this induction is designed to be completed at your own pace and within your own time, and it is an unpaid aspect of the onboarding process. In ensuring a smooth transition onto our platform, setting up your local environment is a key step. The time needed can range from half a day to a week, depending on your familiarity. If you're already acquainted, it might just take a few hours. It's worth mentioning that this onboarding process is unpaid and meant to be completed at your own pace, fitting into your personal schedule. While troubleshooting is part of the learning curve, any extra time spent is entirely your choice, without compensation.
