We're seeking a Lead Blockchain Global Payroll Developer to architect and implement our MVP for global payroll, focusing on integration with existing HR and payroll systems, compliance modules, and blockchain payment rails. This is an equity-only, part-time role for an early-stage project with massive global impact.

Role Overview:

As Lead Blockchain Global Payroll Developer, you will design, develop, and implement a blockchain-based global payroll system. You will be responsible for building secure, scalable interfaces for bulk payments, wallet linking, compliance modules, and reporting tools. You will work closely with the founding team to shape the product and align with strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop the MVP for global payroll on blockchain.
  • Build a bulk payments interface and ensure high throughput and security.
  • Implement employee wallet linking for fiat and stablecoin payments.
  • Develop country-specific compliance modules covering labor laws, tax withholding, and reporting.
  • Integrate with HRIS, accounting, and payroll APIs.
  • Ensure batch scheduling, payment reporting, and audit-ready data.
  • Collaborate with product and compliance teams to ensure the platform meets global regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize smart contracts or blockchain protocols for payroll processing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in blockchain development (Solana, Ethereum, or similar).
  • Strong backend development skills (Node.js, Python, or Go).
  • Experience building financial systems or payment solutions.
  • Familiarity with HR/payroll systems, APIs, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of global payroll compliance and country-specific labor/tax rules is highly desirable.
  • Experience with smart contracts, wallets, and secure transaction processing.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
