Senior Specialist Data Integration

Job Description SummarySr. Specialist for project delivery and/or operations in the given business sub -capability. -Partner with Business Stakeholders and DDIT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation and project delivery -Drive operations of systems and applications in scope (both Global and Local), ensuring their stability and integrity and meeting customer service levels. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data integration solutions using tools like Informatica or equivalent.Write and optimize R and Python scripts for data transformation, cleansing, and automation.Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage and execute projects effectively.Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications. Role RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience demonstrated experience10+ years of experience in ETL and data integration roles.Proficiency in R scripting and Python scripting.Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.Solid understanding of SDLC principles and software engineering best practices.Exposure to Agile methodologies and traditional Waterfall project execution.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Why Novartis:Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world.
