Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE:CARR), is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Lead with expertise in Data Engineering and AI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, with a strong focus on cloud technologies. This role demands a deep understanding of data architecture, integration, ETL processes, and advanced analytics, and requires the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient solutions. As a Delivery Lead, you will oversee both the architectural design and project delivery, ensuring that technical solutions align with our business goals and are executed successfully from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and development of scalable, robust, and secure solutions for engineering processes and systems covering data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics, in alignment with business goals and technology standards.
  • Ensure quality, integrity, and consistency of data across all processes.
  • Introduce AI approaches to solve complex business problems.
  • Oversee project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery, managing scope, risks, and issues effectively.
    • Work with stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
    • Ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards before deployment. Implement continuous improvement processes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance engineering capabilities and efficiency.
    • Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines.
     Required Skills:
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
    • At least 8 years of experience in data engineering, AI, or a related field.
    • Experience building solutions in Snowflake is a must.
    • Proficiency in architectural design, software development, and project management methodologies.
    • Proven experience designing and implementing data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Expertise in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing systems such as PLM and ERP.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Strong background in building and deploying machine learning models.
  • Knowledge of Dell Boomi is a plus.
