About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer / Lead with 4–8 years of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, API development, and database management , with the ability to design scalable solutions and lead development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance APIs using Node.js.
  • Design and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for various business needs.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end, QA, and product teams.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, performance, and security are followed.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Participate in system architecture discussions and provide technical guidance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4–8 years of experience in backend development with Node.js .
  • Strong knowledge of API design & development (RESTful / GraphQL).
  • Proficiency in databases – SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Hands-on knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.


Good to Have:

  • Experience in TypeScript .
  • Exposure to frontend technologies (React/Angular) for full-stack understanding.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest, Jasmine).
