Job Description

This is a remote position.

Our team is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Researcher who understands the structure of the internet and has experience performing OSINT at scale. In this role, you will analyze data feeds and other datasets to integrate them into the RiskProfiler product. Your tasks will include evaluating data quality, identifying potential uses and risk profiles, designing and researching new data collection methods, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop new data specifications.

You will also be expected to review existing data feeds based on partner updates, maintain relationships with data providers, and ensure data quality through curation and cleaning. Additionally, you will support marketing and customer engagement efforts through research, writing, and presentations.


Responsibilities:


• Analyze data feeds and datasets to integrate into the RiskProfiler product.


• Evaluate data quality and effectiveness, identifying potential uses and risk profiles.


• Design and research new data collection methods.


• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop new data specifications.


• Review and update existing data feeds based on changes from partners.


• Maintain relationships with data providers, ensuring data quality through curation and cleaning.


• Support marketing and customer engagement efforts through research, writing, and presentations.



Requirements

Basic Qualifications:


• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Highly skilled in at least one programming language such as Python, NodeJS, or Go.


• 2+ years of non-internship professional security engineering experience.

Technical Skills:


• Strong technical foundation in networking, computer, and network security.


• Broad understanding of protocols, cryptography, and network security applications.


• Proficiency in scripting languages and database technologies.


• Demonstrated success in security data analysis and presentation.


• Ability to conduct statistical experiments and create rapid prototypes.

Requirements
Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, preferably in the cybersecurity domain. Experience with external threat exposure management products or services is highly preferred. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, threat intelligence, and risk management. Proven ability to write clear and effective technical sales documentation. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Previous experience in a startup environment is preferred. Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating effectively with global teams. Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of threat exposure management, attack surface reduction, and digital risk protection. Familiarity with the latest cybersecurity tools and technologies, including vulnerability management and dark web monitoring. Experience with sales enablement tools and CRM platforms. Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet in customer interactions.
