Job Description: Center Head


Role Summary:

The Center Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations, academic excellence, process implementation, profitability, and faculty management at the center. This is a leadership role that requires a blend of operational expertise, academic oversight, and strong people management skills to ensure the center achieves its strategic goals.



Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Management

  • Ensure high-quality academic delivery by maintaining consistency in teaching standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate class performance, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and academic calendar.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with students and faculty to improve learning outcomes.
  • Organize doubt-clearing sessions, tests, and academic events to enhance student engagement.

2. Operations Management

  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day functioning of the center, including infrastructure, IT, and administrative support.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational processes and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Marketing) to ensure seamless operations.

3. Faculty Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage faculty members, ensuring their alignment with organizational standards and values.
  • Plan and implement faculty training programs for skill enhancement and teaching efficacy.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to faculty members.

4. P&L Management

  • Take ownership of the center's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement by driving revenue and managing costs effectively.
  • Plan and implement strategies to meet financial goals and growth targets.
  • Optimize resource allocation and ensure cost efficiency in all activities.

5. Process Standardization and Improvement

  • Establish and standardize key operational processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational excellence.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes for compliance and audits.

6. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, faculty, and staff to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Address grievances and ensure the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Represent the center during organizational meetings, events, and external interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the education sector.
  • Proven track record in managing academics, operations, and profitability.
