We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for an Interior Design Company
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics for the assigned area.
- Achieve sales targets and track performance.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including architects, designers, builders, and contractors.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and competitors.
- Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Manage and track sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Specific to Interior Products:
- Possess a strong understanding of interior products.
- Be able to effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's products to clients.
- Work closely with design teams and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the interior products industry.
- Communication & Interpersonal: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the local market and competitive landscape.
